I am from Spartanburg, SC. For much of medical school, I was certain I would become a Pediatrician, drawn to the idea of seeing cute, bouncy babies all day. However, once I started my Pediatrics rotation, I realized I was wrong. I missed seeing adult patients. I also thoroughly enjoyed delivering babies and helping out in the womens health clinic during my obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) rotation. I grappled with finalizing my specialty choice for months, but then I entered the world of Family Medicine. When I did my Family Medicine rotation, I realized I could have everything I enjoyed in as big or small a dose as I wanted. In my free time, I definitely enjoy shopping, watching movies, and hanging out with friends and family. Whenever possible, I also enjoy making desserts and crafting.
