The idea that a patient could be greeted with a smile, listened to for more than 90 seconds, and spoken to with words of respect, comfort, and encouragement seems a novel concept in todays medical environment. But I want to establish this as the norm instead of the exception. This is what I hope to provide at Village Pediatrics.
